Abilities are defined by 5 differents systems.

Targeting system:

  • Let you choose how the targets are selected.

Activation sytem:

  • Let you choose how the ability is executed.

Requirement system:

  • Let you define requirements such as cooldown, cost, or other arbitrary conditions that needs to be met for the ability to be cast.

Filter system:

  • Let you define conditions that needs to be met for the target to be selected. Useful for removing friendly fire, or to create conditional effects.

Effect system:

  • Let you specify what the ability will do once it gets resolved. Examples are applying damage, spawning an explosion or a projectiles, ect…
  • The module also include projectiles and impact which are reusing some of the previous system to defines their behaviour.
  • Projectiles are moving objects that spawns an Impact uppon collision. Their movement behaviour and valid targets can be customized with the inspector.
  • Impact are explosions that gets spawned by the ability itself or a projectile. An impact can calculate it’s own targets independently from the ability itself.
  • Last but not least, the system also features an animation system called Reactive Gesture. This system comes with a custom inspector to intuitively synchronize logic and visual effects with your animation.
  • Because it is built uppon Game Creator 2, you can expect all the features to be 100% compaptible. There is also optional support for the Stats module.
  • Bring Abilities to your multiplayer games, now made easy using Photon Abilities (Game Creator 2) from HJupter.
