Substance Studies Tutorial | Graphic Design by Daniel Thiger : In this tutorial I will be recreating some of my favorite graphic designs using Substance Designer. Graphic design has always been a great source of inspiration for me. As a texture artist, having the ability to break down patterns and understand how they are put together is tremendously helpful. In my daily practice session, I often challenge myself by picking a reference and recreating it, so in this tutorial you be joining me as I practice recreating some of my favorite graphic design references, building each one from scratch.

The tutorial consists of multiple (9) small lessons which is perfect for those of you who are just getting started with Substance Designer. I’ve also included a node from my recent node pack, DeteDuplicator, which we put to use in this tutorial.

Contents

  • 9 videos (120 minutes total)
  • Dete Duplicator node, which makes it easier to recreate some of these patterns
  • 1080p Resolution
  • Stream video directly (for Studios who need downloadable files, get in touch)
