Sculpt a Character from the Post-Apocalypse : Have you ever wanted to take your character further than a sketch? Now you can! Here is your chance to learn how to make the leap from your drawn character design into a fully realized 3D sculpt of that character.

Picking up from where we left off with “Create a Character from the Post-Apocalypse”, I’ll take you through the process on how to interpret shapes from the 2D drawing into something that is readable and appealing from all sides in 3D.

Create a character that will fit into this world. Follow along with the videos to make an appealing and readable character in 3D using Zbrush. Throughout the class, we will discuss form, proportions, shapes and how we translate those from the concept drawing. If you haven’t already, please check out my class on 2D character design, “Create a Character from the Post-Apocalypse”, where you will learn how to design and concept a character. Not a requirement but may be useful to check out if you’re interested in the full process.
