3D Modeling In Blender 2.8 For Beginners – The Modeling Toolset : In this class, you will learn the entire modeling toolset available in Blender. We’ll cover the different 3D modeling tools and what they do as well as what they mean (such as extrusion, loop cuts, bevelling and so on). We’ll also look at modifiers to help you with 3D modeling and also look at all the available sculpting tools to help you get awesome looking 3D models.
Project Description
For this project, try to create a very simple 3D house. The house, at the very minimum, should have a few windows, a door, a roof and a little chimney.
You will need to utilize the following modeling tools:
- Extrusion
- Loop cuts
- Bevel
- The Array Modifier
- The Subdivision Surface Modifier
EXTRA POINTS: Once you’re done with creating the house, see if you can make use of Sculpting with DynTopo to turn your house into a worn down old house. Add random scratches/bumps here and there to the walls and also smooth or flatten out the really sharp corners.
