Animate You: Create A Personal Animation in Illustrator

We will cover how to :

• Set up your files in Illustrator
• Animate it in Character Animator
• Export your project in Adobe Media Encoder

I’ll cover every step of my process in detail, so you can follow along even if you’ve never used After Effects or Character Animator before. I’ve included all of my source design and animation project files for my Character. That way if you’re curious how I set up my character in Illustrator, or want to skip the design process and just jump into using Character Animator, you can just use my files.

Project Description

By the end of this class you will be able to design and animate a digital character of yourself. You will use Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, and Adobe Character Animator.

To complete this project you will :

• Choose someone to send a greeting to
• Design your character
• Rig your character
• Animate your character
• Animate text
• Export your character
